Companies are working on making indoor sports and sporting events fully and safely accessible again for athletes and the public.
Six projects have been commissioned for ‘Phase 2’ of the SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) Sports Events and the SBIR Sports Accommodations. Where 14 entrepreneurs in ‘Phase 1’ carried out a feasibility study, 6 companies are now actually getting started developing the innovation. These innovative products and services will contribute to making sport safe and accessible again in times of COVID-19. The SBIRs were carried out by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) on behalf of Sportinnovator and the Ministries of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and VWS. Iventionair is one of six companies.
